"Ask anybody bout me, from me small, dem say me boasy”, this West Indian Born, Tampa-based artist, was born on March 14.

His interest in music began very early; he recalls writing his first song when he was 11 years old after being influenced by the popular R&B groups, Boyz II Men and New Edition. In his teenage years, he joined his High School and Church Choirs where he developed his singing skills. During this time, he also formed the gospel band “Proclaim” with some of his friends.

Growing up in the 90s with Reggae & Dancehall influences like Shabba, Buju, Capleton, Beenie Man, Bounty Killa, Barrington Levy, Sanchez, Lucky Dube along with Hip Hop greats such as Tupac, Biggy, Jay-Z, Nas, Busta Rhymes, and DMX, it is no surprise that ZDA has such a unique and catchy style.

In the spring of 2020, he released his first big single "Jus Chillin" which was well received by music fans worldwide.

ZDA released his first EP, “Just Me”, a 5-track reggae-hip hop fusion on January 30, 2021, featuring engaging lyrics and pleasurable rhythms throughout all the tracks including, “Detail King” and “BYF”. The album was produced and mixed by DJ Gio of Johari Records. You can purchase the album in full on all streaming platforms.

ZDA is “Grateful” that the public has been so receptive to his music. As his popularity keeps growing, he continues to count his “Blessings”.
